Hello! With so much going on this term, we want to keep parents and dancers updated in all that is going on!
New Teacher
Most of our students (and parents) will have met our new teacher, Ivy. Ivy is taking on a few of our current classes offering her own take on teaching, whilst still maintaining the Live Love Perform ethos.
Ivy has a Level 3 Performing Arts Diploma and has a fantastic energy when teaching. We are excited to have Ivy on board and see what she will bring to LLP classes!
Adult classes
After 2 successful ‘Dance in the Parks’ at Meadowbank in Dorking, we are excited to be looking for the perfect venue for these classes to take place! Natalie is a registered Silver Swans (a gentle ballet class for older learners) teacher, however, we have also had some interest in adult street dance and dance fit classes.
If any adult classes are of interest to you, please fill in our interest form and we will be in touch soon with details of classes. We also plan to choose an outdoor venue for a free adult only ‘Dance in the Park’. If you have any ideas of a suitable venue, please get in touch and we will explore that for you!
Meadowbank Dance in the Park
We have 2 more dates for our free Dance in the Park at Meadowbank in Dorking - 16th June and 23rd June. Please share with all your friends as we want to get everyone moving, both adults and children!
Summer Showcase
With just under 60 days until Live Love Perform takes to the stage at Dorking Halls, parents will be sent timings of rehearsals this week and all details for the show - please ensure you check your emails.
In this email you will also receive a medical form. If your child has any medication or anything that we need to be aware of, please let us know so we can ensure all our chaperones are aware on the day!
Most of the costumes have been finalised and ordered with the rest being sorted this week. If you haven’t already, please do ensure that your child’s participation fee is paid as without this they won’t be able to perform.
Tickets
Each performing child has 2 tickets reserved for them; however, we have a pot of extra tickets available. Please get in touch if you would like to bring friends and family, the more the merrier! Tickets are £7.50 and can be confirmed by emailing francesca@liveloveperform.co.uk
In Class Rehearsals
In the lead up to the Summer Showcase, we can’t stress enough how important it is for your child to attend their classes this term. Every week we will be learning a bit more of the show routine and fine tuning - if your child is missing classes, it will make it harder for them and we want this to be a positive experience for every child. If your child is well and able to come to class, please send them!
Photos/Videos
This term, I will be returning to classes to take more photos and videos of the children to use for our social media and to promote the dance school. If you haven’t already please ensure you have completed a release form to give consent for your child to be photographed. Any questions please do not hesitate to talk to myself or Natalie.
LLP Sweatshirts
We have had lots of parents and students ask if we can order some LLP sweatshirts. Your wish is our command and we are about to place the first order for sweatshirts so please reply to Natalie’s recent email regarding these, if you would like one.

School Holiday workshops
May Holiday Workshop
31st May, Colman Redland Centre: Our Sing 2 workshop is split into 2 age-appropriate groups to learn a dance to music from the film.
Summer Holiday Workshop
Located at Brockham Village Hall across two dates (11th August and 18th August), students will learn a variety of material for a mini performance to be held at the end of the workshop.
A fantastic opportunity to learn some fresh and exciting moves, whilst having lots of fun with friends!
